Purpose
We are a group of local environmentalists, including residents
and business owners, who work together to support sustainable change in Delaware County. Our goal is to promote community
health and better quality of life for future generations.
We hope to add new members, so we will
be able to grow and expand. We also want to have fun while together and working on projects. By developing relationships
and friendships, the organization will become stronger.
Mission
Our
mission is to further promote awareness of environmental issues such as global warming, water conservation and management,
energy efficiency, alternative energy solutions, sustainable building design, recycling, composting, Community Supported
Agriculture and much more so that we may begin to take steps toward positive change. We strive to make a difference
by educating the public and expanding our reach.
